THE LOG OF LUMBER STICKS OR CHOCOLATE


INGREDIENTS
  • For about 20 sticks.
  • 200 gm dark chocolate 70%.
  • 160 gm ladyfingers
  • 160 gm ground almonds
  • 200 gm unsalted butter
  • 65 gm icing sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 teaspoons of strong coffee
  • 80 gm of chocolate powder
  • 3 tablespoons of whiskey (to be avoided for very young children)


DIRECTION
  • Reduce boudoirs powder in a food processor (to get help from his parents).
  • Melt chocolate in double boiler with butter.
  • In a recipe, mix the powder boudoirs, chocolate, ground almonds, icing sugar, 3 egg yolks, butter, coffee and whiskey by turning progressively.
  • Work the dough with a spoon and refrigerate for 6 hours.
  • When the dough is hard enough, make small rolls of about 10 cm long and 1 cm thick.
  • In a bowl, pour the chocolate powder, place 45 sticks in it. 
  • Put a second bowl on top.
  • Shake, flip several times all for the chocolate powder or on all sticks.
  • Repeat until all chocolate is coated sticks.
