RAITA FOR KIDS




Serves: 4 people

UTENSILS

  • vegetable peeler
  • kitchen knife
  • 1 teaspoon
  • a grater
  • a sieve
  • a bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cucumber
  • 300 g Greek yogurt
  • ½ c. cumin
  • juice of ½ lemon
  • mint leaves
  • salt


DIRECTION
  • Peel the cucumber with a vegetable peeler
  • Cut it into two sections, then two in the longitudinal direction.
  • Remove the seeds in helping you with a spoon.
  • Grate the cucumber on the large holes of grater.
  • Put the cucumber in a strainer over a bowl and add three pinches of salt. Mixture.
  • Pour the yogurt in a bowl. 
  • Add the lemon juice and cumin.
  • Press into your hands the cucumber to remove as much water and add it to yogurt.
  • Mixture . After tasting, add salt if necessary
  • Put the bowl in the fridge.
  • You can add some mint leaves or chopped cilantro.  
  • Before serving, sprinkle the cumin raita.
